The fifth SAIS Terry Fox Run will be held at the track of Shekou Sports Center at 9:00-11:00am on Nov. 22. All parents are welcome to join and support the event. ELE students will start from 8:45am-10:00am, and K-8th grade students from 10:00-11:00am. In last four years, SAIS raised over 144,000RMB from SAIS Terry Fox Run to help total eleven children in need at the Shenzhen Children’s Hospital from Terry Fox Run! Wow, an unbelievable effort and for a very worthy cause.
Our goal, as a school, is to raise between 25,000-30,000 RMB for this cause. This is a big goal that will require students to do some work to reach it. Donations are being accepted before and at the run. Cash and WeChat are acceptable for donations. There will be auction booths run by parents for donation at that day. Your child can get one cute fox for free ONLY if you or your children make the donation ON SITE! First come first served! Moreover, your child can get one piece of cookie for free after he/she run/walk in the spirit of Terry Fox! If your child needs more cookies, you are welcome to donate some!
