SAIS Summer Camp

For Age 3-6

Our amazing school is excited to announce our summer options!
The purpose of our summer camps are to provide a fully immersive environment for your children to experience.  They will come, learn, play, and grow.  Through exploring different topics as a group they will form bonds with new friends that will extend well beyond the time of the camp.  Come, sign up, and enjoy!
In total there are four-weeks of summer camp options organized by SAIS from June 29 to July 23.  This is for current SAIS students, as well as any student from any school. Please reserve your spot and sign up for our SAIS summer camp today!  Sign up for one or both.

**The tuition includes all material fees and lunches. For summer camp student families, please arrange your own transportation for this summer camp.**

 

CAMP OVERVIEW

Session 1: Water World & Sculpting (6/28-7/9)

Water World

Welcome to ‘Water World’ week. The focus of this week is to explore water, how it changes, its purpose and many uses for us and the world. Each day we have one or two focused activities for you to do with your summer camp students. This activity will often focus on building skills, knowledge and give something for the children to take home each day. Alongside the focused activity we have a list of free play activities based around water. These activities should be appropriately introduced to the children and supported by teachers throughout the day. There are also variations for K/G1 students to take learning deeper and further.
Sculpting

Welcome to ‘Sculpting’ week. The focus of this week is to use imagination and exploration for endless possibilities together through clay, card, wire, plastics, stone and metals. Each day we have a focused activity for you to do with your summer camp students. This activity will often focus on sculpting skills, knowledge and give something for the children to take home each day. Alongside the focused activity we have a list of free play activities based around sculpting. These activities should be appropriately introduced to the children and supported by teachers throughout the day. There are also variations for K/G1 students to take learning deeper and further.

Session 2: Space!(7/12-7/23)

Welcome to ‘Space’ week. The focus of this week is to explore Outer Space and how we can be an astronaut. Each day will be a different aspect of Space: learn about the different planets, design your own planet, creating your own space suit and make rockets. Below we have one or two focused activities for you to do with your summer camp students. This activity will often focus on building skills, knowledge and give something for the children to be excited about each day. There are also variations for K/G1 students to take learning deeper and further. At the end of the Summer Camp each student will be able to take home a complete solar system to hang in their bedrooms and a space suit.
